THINGS TO DO AND EAT IN OAHU:

It’s been awhile since I’ve added any new city guides to my site. I’ve been getting a huge amount of requests these past few weeks for Hawaii, so I’ve finally decided to add a new post! People have been asking me which island they should visit, but I can’t really say because I’ve only been to Oahu! Why? Because it’s foodie paradise! We would’ve loved to island hop and visit the other islands, but our time was limited.

THINGS TO DO AND EAT IN LA:

Home to endless beaches, nice weather (most of the time) and delicious food! There’s always something new going on in LA, with plenty of things that’ll keep you busy.

Anyone that knows me, knows I love going to LA/SoCal/Cali in general. I’d move there if I could! I’m constantly trying to resist the temptation of going every year, just so that I’d have the chance to travel to other locations I’ve never been. It’s definitely tough when the ticket prices are so low!

The last time we went was during June ’16. It’s only been a year but it feels like ages ago! I have to say, that was probably the hottest cali trip I’ve ever been on. It felt like Texas heat!

Even though it’s only been a year, there’s been soo many new eateries that have opened up since then! The list below may be a little outdated, but that’s all I have until I get to try the new places.

THINGS TO DO AND EAT IN KANSAI REGION:

I originally had most of these tips and eateries in the “Japan Guide” but I decided to separate the two regions we visited (Kantō and Kansai).

Seoul Guide

The first time we went to Seoul, we were only there for two short stopovers, going to/from Hong Kong. This year, we were able to spend a longer time in Seoul, since it wasn’t too far away from Japan. Traveling overseas involves such a longgg flight! Why not make the most out of it by going to a neighboring country (or few)? That’s if time permits.

During our first visit in Spring 2015, we felt completely overwhelmed because we didn’t know where to go and how to get to our destinations. Google Maps wasn’t (and still isn’t) widely used over there, so it only helped at times when we needed to get between two major tourist destinations. It doesn’t calculate the time it’ll take on foot or by car, but it may sometimes show you one for public transportation, if there’s a route. Daum and Naver Maps were the most commonly used, but it was only in Korean! What help was that to us? None, because I can’t read Hangul lol.

Below you can find a few tips and some of the places we went to, that I thought was worth mentioning. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, you can leave a comment at the end of the post 🙂
